Intrinsic is seeking qualified Modeling & Simulation Engineer candidates across all experience levels. Candidates will be considered for the appropriate levels listed below based on education, technical expertise, demonstrated experience, and overall qualifications. You will be an integral team member working directly on-site with simulation end users and other software engineering professionals. Please note that this posting is intended to identify qualified individuals for an upcoming contract opportunity. Employment is contingent upon contract award.

0-4

Years Primary Responsibilities:

Supports the development, testing, and execution of modeling and simulation solutions while building technical expertise.

Position:
Modeling & Simulation Engineer II Experience:

5-9

Years Experience:

Develops simulation models, scenarios, and analytical products supporting mission engineering, operational analysis, and software development.

Position:
Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer Experience:

10-14

Years Primary Responsibilities:

Leads technical efforts, mentors team members, and delivers advanced modeling and simulation solutions for complex customer missions.

Principal Modeling & Simulation Engineer Experience:

15+

Years Primary Responsibilities:

Serves as the technical authority, leading architecture, customer engagement, technical strategy, and execution of complex modeling and simulation programs. This employment opportunity is intended for U.S. citizens interested in working onsite at Honolulu, Hawaii In this position you will:

  • Develop realistic simulation environments emulating real world systems and platforms
  • Develop mission-level simulation environments supporting operational analysis
  • Develop and implement models for sensors, weapons, communications, C2, cyber, EW, logistics, and autonomous systems
  • Support digital engineering, mission engineering, and AI-enabled decision support initiative
  • Collaborate with government customers, operators, analysts, and software engineers
  • Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team
  • Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology
  • Delivering high quality product features exceeding client expectations
Security Requirements:
  • Top Secret Clearance, SCI Eligible
  • US Citizenship This position supports a U.

S. Government Contract whose terms require Intrinsic Enterprises Inc. to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong C++ 17 or later experience
  • Experience utilizing one or more Department of Defense modeling, simulation, mission engineering, or digital engineering environments such as AFSIM, NGTS, JSE, OneSAF, STK, JSAF, BRAWLER, or equivalent simulation frameworks
  • Experience with high performance and multi-threaded programming
  • Experience with developing sub-system and system level models
  • 2+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team
  • Experience building, testing and deploying software
  • Experience with Git in a team environment
  • Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements
  • US Citizenship Preferred qualifications:
  • Top Secret Clearance with current SCI
  • Software development experience with C++
  • Experience building and shipping products
  • Hardware integration and embedded system programing
  • Hardware-in-the-loop simulation experience
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools
  • Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)
  • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
