5-7 Years Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Scientist to join our team in Johnston, Iowa . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Data Science, Python, and Machine Learning , along with hands-on experience developing predictive models and extracting actionable insights from complex datasets. Candidates local to Iowa or nearby states are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions. Build data pipelines and automate data processing workflows. Perform statistical analysis and data mining to solve business problems. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to define data-driven solutions. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively. Validate model performance and continuously optimize algorithms. Document methodologies, processes, and technical findings. Required Skills & Qualifications 5-7 years of professional experience in Data Science or related fields. Strong programming experience with Python . Hands-on expertise in Machine Learning algorithms and model development. Experience with data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn. Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and predictive analytics. Experience working with SQL and relational databases. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Experience with big data technologies is a plus. Location Preference Candidates local to Iowa or nearby states are highly preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States. No C2C. W2 candidates only.
