Define and drive best practices in decision analytics specific to supply chain and chemical manufacturing contexts. Provide leadership in setting strategic directions for data science platforms aligned with the company's objectives. Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear, business-focused storytelling and reporting. Collaborate closely with cross-functional business leaders to translate complex supply chain and manufacturing challenges into actionable data science initiatives. Oversee end-to-end delivery of data science projects, including data ingestion, feature engineering, model development, deployment, and monitoring in production environments. Collaborate with front and back-end developers to integrate data science solutions into internal business applications. Develop, validate, and deploy advanced optimization and machine learning models to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Ensure continuous model performance monitoring and lifecycle management to adapt to evolving business conditions. Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, ML Ops, and stakeholders to create repeatable machine learning pipelines and enhance decision-making capabilities. Drive innovation by experimenting with new technologies, tools, and methodologies that enhance data science and decision-making capabilities. Regularly review junior team members' performance, provide actionable feedback, and offer training to enhance their technical and business skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field and 2 years of experience in data science deploying, building, and training machine learning models. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in all of the following: Python programming and SQL for complex data querying and manipulation; Cloud platforms and tools for model training and deployment, such as AWS SageMaker; Docker containers and containerization for scalable deployment; MLOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, and lifecycle management; Optimization techniques such as linear and Mixed-integer programming for supply chain problems, including network optimization and inventory management; and Building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning and optimization models.
