The Data Scientist will support analytical development activities within a regulated pharmaceutical and biotechnology environment. The role will focus on analytical data management, trending, visualization, and technical documentation. The position will work with Analytical Leads to consolidate and interpret laboratory data supporting product development, stability assessments, process understanding, technology transfers, and regulatory submissions. The role requires strong data management, Excel, laboratory systems, reporting, and technical writing capabilities.Key Responsibilities:
Access and extract analytical data from multiple LIMS and electronic laboratory systems. Organize, reconcile, and consolidate analytical data from internal and external testing laboratories. Verify analytical data for accuracy, completeness, and traceability. Maintain data repositories, tracking tools, and standardized reporting templates. Enter analytical results into approved trending software and databases. Generate trend reports, dashboards, data summaries, and visualizations. Compile analytical data packages for Analytical Lead review and present data summaries and trend analyses. Identify data gaps and support resolution activities. Author and revise technical reports, memoranda, analytical assessments, and data summaries. Prepare and revise Summary of Analytical Results and supporting documentation. Support document revision cycles and reviewer comments while ensuring documentation remains accurate, complete, and audit ready.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline. 2 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated laboratory environments. Experience working with LIMS, electronic laboratory systems, or scientific databases. Strong Excel skills including data manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Experience with analytical data management, trending, reporting, and visualization. Experience authoring technical reports, memoranda, data summaries, or quality documentation. Strong attention to detail, organization, data accuracy, and traceability. Ability to manage large datasets and multiple concurrent deliverables.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting CMC analytical development activities. Experience with biologics, drug substance, drug product, or analytical development. Experience supporting clinical development, stability assessments, process understanding, technology transfers, or regulatory submissions. Experience with analytical trending software, dashboards, or scientific data visualization tools.Benefits:
