Job Description

CALIBRE is an employee-owned mission focused solutions and digital transformation company. We are seeking a highly motivated Privacy Preserving Record Linkage Automation (PPRLA) Task Lead to support a federal client. This role will lead delivery of key PPRLA technical components, driving secure development, rigorous testing and validation, and high-quality record linkage capabilities across assigned subtasks. The Task Lead will oversee technical execution, manage resources and schedules, and ensure delivery of scalable, high-quality linkage solutions. This position requires strong experience in statistical modeling, data linkage methodologies, and AI/ML-driven approaches within secure or privacy-sensitive environments.

Rockville, MD (Onsite - 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20857) Required Skills Strong experience with probabilistic, deterministic, and hybrid record linkage methodologies Knowledge of privacy-preserving record linkage (PPRL) techniques and approaches Experience with statistical analysis, confidence scoring, and data quality evaluation Familiarity with AI/ML models and self-learning matching algorithms Ability to evaluate system performance using statistical metrics Strong technical documentation skills (code documentation, test results, implementation guidance) Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly (written and verbal) Experience with risk identification, issue tracking, and performance reporting required Experience Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Behavioral Science, or related field 5+ years of experience in data linkage, statistical modeling, AI/ML, and/or secure data processing Experience leading technical tasks or subtasks on projects of similar size and complexity Hands-on experience implementing or supporting machine learning-based systems Preferred Experience Experience with embedding techniques (e.g., transformer-based embeddings) and similarity metrics Familiarity with explainable AI and algorithm transparency tools Experience working in secure research environments or privacy-sensitive data enclaves Experience contributing to white papers, dashboards, or technical reporting Clearance Requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain required suitability/clearance, as applicable.
