Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
- We are a cleared federal contractor seeking experienced Senior Data Scientists to support an NGA Analysis Office (AOT/USSOCOM).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and deploy mission-ready data-science solutions in support of USSOCOM operations.
- Query and integrate web APIs in Python to retrieve, normalize, and operationalize data.
- Build interactive data visualizations and analytic dashboards supporting daily operations.
- Develop geospatial processing workflows leveraging GDAL, ArcPy, ArcGIS Pro, and/or QGIS.
- Maintain code in Git-based version control and produce clear, concise technical documentation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
- Senior-level proficiency in Python with demonstrated experience designing mission-ready solutions.
- Experience querying and integrating web APIs through Python to retrieve, normalize, and operationalize data.
- Experience developing interactive data visualizations using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
- Experience building dashboards and analytic interfaces using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases.
- Experience with Git-based version control platforms (GitLab, GitHub).
- Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks such as GDAL or ArcPy.
- Proficiency with GIS desktop software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS.
- Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation related to software systems and automated workflows.
- Ability to operate independently at a senior level with limited oversight.
- Familiarity with USSOCOM and broader U.S. military organizational structures.
- Familiarity with common Intelligence Community (IC) data repositories.
Pay:
$125,000.33- $200,000.
