Please note:
this is a remote co op position with the possibility of in-person days. Applicants must be within commuting distance of our Branchville, NJ location. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and support Data and Analytics solutions Provide production support for the solutions as needed Research new technology capabilities under the direction from existing team members Ensure adherence to IT standards and best practices Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly to support business processes and resolve issues Qualifications Knowledge and Requirements Must be a current college student majoring in Computer Science or a related field to qualify (rising seniors, preferred). Must be enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, an accredited internship or co-operative education course during the fall 2026 semester Basic to intermediate experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or similar Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills, with an interest in applying technology to real-world business challenges Demonstrated interest in Data, Analytics, and AI, through relevant coursework, academic projects, or hands-on experience (e.g., data analytics, machine learning, or AI concepts/tools) Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry Education and Experience Currently enrolled in a college/university pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field to qualify. The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs. Pay Range USD $21.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
