Modeling and Simulation Lead Software Engineer Leidos - 3.7 Beavercreek, OH Job Details Full-time $87,100 - $157,450 a year 1 day ago Qualifications English C++ Simulation tools Linux Full Job Description Description Leidos is hiring a Lead Modeling and Simulation Software Engineer with an active Secret clearance in our Beavercreek Ohio Office. The successful candidate will use strong technical capabilities and communication skills to collaborate with technical teams of engineers and scientists to integrate an infrared threat simulation into a multispectral few-on-few engagement simulation environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform tasks related to the integration of an infrared threat simulation into a multispectral few-on-few, C++ based simulation environment Lead a team of engineers and manage team tasking Collaborate with teams of government and contractor personnel Participate in the design and implementation of tools that support the wider multispectral simulation Test and evaluate implementations, provide feedback to developmental team and team partners Prepare documentation requested by the government customer
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or a related field with 5+ years of applicable experience or an MS degree in CS, CE, EE, or a related field Experience with C++, Linux Experience with modeling and simulation (M&S) techniques Excellent English-language written and verbal communication. Strong emphasis on writing ability Great people skills and the desire to work with technical teams of engineers and scientists Ability to work independently and under deadlines in a mixed government-contractor environment To be considered, must have a current and active Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with modeling and simulation, Python, GPU compute, HPC resources, EO/IR sensor phenomenology, infrared threat systems Previous team lead experience Previous experience with department of defense software applications NKE If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
