Adjunct - Data Science Program

The Data Science program at Gettysburg College invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach undergraduate data science courses during the 2026-2027 academic year, pending budgetary approval and institutional need. Courses taught may include Data Science 256: Data Science Programming (an introduction to core data science concepts through Python and relevant libraries such as NumPy and Pandas) and Data Science 325: Applied Data Science, which explores machine learning techniques. This position offers an opportunity to engage with a vibrant liberal arts community and contribute to a dynamic curriculum and a growing program in Data Science. Qualifications Applicants must hold at least a master's degree in data science or a related discipline. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a doctoral degree (or are ABD). Previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
