Job Description
Overview The IT Department is seeking a motivated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analyst Co-Op who will be based out of the O'Fallon, MO office. We are seeking a motivated AI Analyst Co-op to join our team and support the design, development, and deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions. This role offers hands-on experience working with real-world data, modern AI tools, and cross-functional teams while applying academic knowledge in a professional setting. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist in developing, training, and evaluating machine learning and AI models. Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data. Experimentation with algorithms such as regression, classification, clustering, NLP, or computer vision. Write and maintain Python code for data analysis and model development. Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists on AI-driven features. Document findings, model performance, and technical processes. Stay current with emerging AI/ML techniques and tools. This position requires work to be performed on-site at our corporate office and does not provide for work from home offices. Regular and reliable attendance in the office is required. Qualifications Full time college student, pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business systems, computer science, information security, management information systems or similar fields required. Candidate must have completed at least 30-60 college credit hours. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office 365 applications. Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks. Ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations. Microsoft SQL database and Access skills preferred. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) coursework or experience is a plus. The duration of this co-op is May to December, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
