Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
Build lasting partnerships with stakeholders to deliver solutions that positively impact our members and providers Harness the potential of complex, disparate data sources to create robust solutions Use statistical modeling and machine learning to predict key outcomes and explain main drivers Help us build responsible algorithms that are fair to our members and their communities Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent Two (2) years of experience using data science tools like SQL, R or Python Prior work or academic experience applying statistical and machine learning methods Familiarity with cloud technologies
Continuous Learning Mindset Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree Experience working with large sets of healthcare data Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, experimentation and casual / interference methods as appropriate to business problems Experience collaborating across data science, engineering, product, and business teams. Experience with AWS and Amazon SageMaker for developing, training, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models in production. Experience with DBT for building, testing, documenting, and maintaining scalable data transformation pipelines We have openings across multiple teams within our data science community; a specific role and manager will be determined during our hiring process. Healthfirst offers remote and hybrid work opportunities. Hiring Range
•: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $108,300 - $156,485 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $99,100 - $147,390 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision. In addition to your salary, Healthfirst offers employees a full range of benefits such as, medical, dental and vision coverage, incentive and recognition programs, life insurance, and 401k contributions (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
