• $80/hr We have an immediate need for a Data Scientist based in Irvine, CA 92618, to support advanced data-driven initiatives within a financial services environment.

In this role, you will work as a key contributor in designing and implementing data science solutions using technologies such as Python, SQL, and AWS. You will be responsible for performing in-depth data analysis, building scalable data models, and deriving actionable insights to support business decisions. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing, along with the ability to work independently on complex datasets. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions, while also working within Agile environments and utilizing tools like GitHub and QTest for development and testing workflows. The ideal candidate should have strong experience as a Data Scientist with expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS. Hands-on experience with PySpark, data modeling, and large-scale data processing is essential. Functional knowledge of the financial services domain is highly preferred. Candidates should possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like GitHub and QTest will be an added advantage, along with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality data insights.
