Intactis Bio's first target is an engineered brain tissue for use in biocomputation and regenerative medicine. (www.intactis.bio) Position Description We are seeking a Machine Learning Developer to work on our revolutionary biocomputation platform. Your role is to integrate new AI/ML frameworks with our platform.

This is intended as a part-time role for equity based compensation. The specific allocation based on the candidate's experience and level of involvement. Because no salary is initially provided, the role offers significant flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize advanced computational pipelines to support high-performance biocomputation needs. Lead the research, development, and integration of machine learning solutions tailored to biological data processing and modeling. Personally write and develop the codebase for novel ML applications. Collaborate closely with tissue engineering team and signal processing teams to develop scalable platforms and technologies that address critical challenges in neuroscience and electrophysiology. Provide leadership in data security, cloud infrastructure, and system reliability to ensure smooth and scalable operations. Evaluate and implement cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and technologies that keep the company at the forefront of the field. Mentor and manage a growing team of engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence. Co-author grant applications, investment thesis, white papers, and participate in fundraising/networking activities. Wear many hats as required for an early-stage start-up.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience in developing complex computational pipelines Significant expertise in machine learning Neuroscience, neurotech, and/or neuromorphic computing. Strong background in cloud-based infrastructures, data security, and large-scale data processing. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders. Existing relationships with investors and a history of successful fundraising is highly desirable.
