Technical Engineer I (Remote - Anywhere in the U.S.) We're looking for a curious and agile Technical Engineer I who thrives on learning new technologies and building smart solutions. If you enjoy solving problems, creating tools, and driving data-driven impact this role is for you!
What You'll Do:
Rapidly learn and apply new languages and techniques for flexible problem-solving Build tools and automation to improve claim quality and internal processes Develop data, reports, and analytics solutions for clients Enhance client outcomes through data analysis and insights
What We're Looking For:
Strong problem-solving mindset and adaptability Passion for learning new tools, languages, and technologies Experience with data, reporting, and analytics development ✨ Join us and help transform data into impact for both our clients and our business! Bachelor's degree in Science, Math, Economics, Finance, Business, Risk Management or related fields a strong plus Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions Enterprise application development experience (using multiple tiers, object oriented design, object relational mapping layers, unit testing frameworks) a strong plus Experience with statistics and predictive modeling is a plus Familiarity with source control (GIT preferred) is a plus Powershell or equivalent scripting experience a plus Familiarity with MS Excel, Power BI, MS Access, SQL, ORACLE or other relational database programs Familiarity with cloud databases (e.g., Snowflake) a plus Experience using AI code assistants a plus Experience with one of Java, Python, C# or equivalent Capable of quickly learning new tools Focused on solutions, good at overcoming problems: employee continually applies creativity and a disciplined approach to overcoming problems and road blocks #LI-DV1 Designs new and differentiated solutions we can offer to our clients, tests solutions/programs for benefits, and develops material to explain and promote solutions. Designs, develops and tests software solutions for use internally and for clients Automates processes, and improves their efficiency Data exploration Supports the database infrastructures that underlies analytical tools. Works on analytics reporting infrastructure Web development: emphasis on tools deployment/delivery via web sites Performs data manipulation and ETL and maintains data pipelines to supply all our deliverables and products Observes proper processes and procedures Contributes to process improvement, proposing and arguing for changes in a collaborative, team-based approach Documents work and processes and helps train others on work and processes as needed
