Job Description
The Consulting Partner will lead AI-driven transformation initiatives for North American Utilities clients. This role targets senior practitioners with deep strategic advisory experience, strong technical credibility, and a proven track record of building and scaling AI teams and solutions. Candidates who have led AI departments, Centers of Excellence, or founded / operated AI-focused companies will be given strong preference. Roles & Responsibilities Define and lead AI & GenAI strategy for electric, gas, and water utilities Advise CIO, CTO, CDO, and business leaders on AI-led operating model transformation Architect and deliver end-to-end AI and GenAI solutions from concept to production Lead large-scale AI programs across grid operations, asset management, customer operations, and energy transition Establish AI governance, Responsible AI, and regulatory compliance (e.g., NERC CIP) Build and scale AI teams, Centers of Excellence, and reusable accelerators Support pre-sales, RFPs, executive solutioning, and strategic pursuits

ML Frameworks:
TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Generative AI & LLMs:
GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini; prompt engineering and agentic architectures
Cloud AI Platforms:
Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, AWS SageMaker & Bedrock, Google Vertex AI MLOps:
CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, governance, retraining, and security
Data Platforms:
Databricks, Snowflake, cloud-native data lakes
Utility Systems & Data:
SCADA, AMI, OMS, GIS, DERMS, EAM
Preferred Skills /
Background:
Former Head of AI, Chief AI Officer, AI Practice Leader, or AI Startup Founder Experience running AI departments, AI CoEs, or small AI-focused companies
• Proven record of building AI teams and scaling production-grade AI solutions Prior consulting experience with North American utilities Certifications Relevant certifications in AI/ML and cloud platforms: Azure AI Engineer Associate AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer Certifications in Generative AI tools
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
Salary Range:
210,000-284,100 a year #LI-MM6
