Job Description
Equipment Specialist II Kalman and Company United States, Georgia, Albany May 11, 2026 Kalman & Company is seeking to hire is seeking an Equipment Specialist II to conduct technical data life cycle management for data in multiple data repositories as well as review, develop, validate, analyze and update publications. This position is tied to a contract proposal with an award date in Spring of 2026. Travel requirements up to 10%. Primary duties will include (but not limited to): Conduct technical data life cycle management for data in multiple data repositories (e.g. Technical Data Management System, Applications Data Files, GCSS).
Attend planning meetings and teleconferences and submit minutes from each meeting.
Review drawing packages to ensure provisioning data is sufficiently complete to submit for a procurable NSN and provide recommendations for changes.
Review, develop, validate, analyze and update publications (Operation Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Modification Instructions, Technical Instructions, SL-3's and Special Instructions).
Draft and review Statements of Work for various client components.
Provide coordination and management of various systems and processes as required.
Responsible for assisting in initial provisioning and fielding of new equipment to include new equipment asset management and inventory control.
Provide assistance in the management of the program for spares, repair parts, and supplies to meet requirements.
Ensure quality assurance is managed by utilizing the Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs) and providing immediate resolutions.
Research and answer PDMI 339s.
Ensure proper documentation.
Maintain regular onsite work schedule.
Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
US Citizenship is required. 5 years ofISO MCLB
Albany or relevant military experience Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate information Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing Ability to work with large amounts of data Ability to coordinate equipment distribution Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Knowledge of DoD unique systems for equipment sustainment Knowledge of Product Data Management Initiative and Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program Understanding and navigation of DLA WebFLIS programDesired:
