218039 - Support Engineering Data Specialist 3 Industry ENG Region GA-Georgia City Warner Robins State GA Rate Up to $62.05 DOE Duration 9 Months Description Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Support Engineering Data Specialist (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Warner Robins, GA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): Bachelor's (or higher) degree from an accredited course of study in systems engineering, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or other technical/engineering fields of study 3 years of experience with reliability, maintainability, safety or supportability 2 years of experience with data systems/data mining Ability to confidently perform and communicate across multiple engineering functions/roles Ability to adapt and use multiple data systems with the expressed result of developing and providing professional level trend and performance reports/presentations Ability to work in a team based, cross-functional, and cross-organizational environment
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, analyzes, collects, and stores various system support technical data elements and specification to evaluate and make recommendations. Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks, resources, and support systems to achieve supportability requirements for multiple equipment subsystems. Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and report. Determines spares provisioning requirements for spare and replacement parts, levels, and stocking for multiple customers under a single contract type. Prepares and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, and maintaining aircraft systems/ components. Reviews and evaluates aircraft and/or fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability for a single airline customer, aircraft type and system specialty. Duties may include (but are not limited to): Support development, execution, and sustainment of the DEA Program Execution Plan and yearly
USAF/FMS
engineering and Operational Command Airworthiness review (including associated contract deliverables) Perform technical research, evaluation and trending of formally released engineering instructions (dispositions) in support of efforts to develop system/equipment, process, and/or maintenance concept/task improvements. Safety, mission downtime, and inefficient maintenance tasks affecting our various customers are critical targets; Support and collaborate with globally located Engineers, DEA engineers, DEA Designated Trainers, Functional Engineering Managers (FEM) and maintenance/logistics professionals in the analysis and trending of released engineering disposition (repair design instructions) across all sustainment environments (Operational, Depot, Component Repair & Overhaul, and Build)Acquire/Maintain data system access (Multiple non-conformance and maintenance data systems) and process awareness to enable capture, trending, and reporting of engineering products to support multiple contract requirements and deliverables Perform, as required, failure modes, effects and criticality based assessments in support of clarifying technical issues, frequency of occurrence, and potential corrective actions Provide recurrent internal and/or external performance summaries focused on process, product or maintenance improvement Provide recurrent internal and/or external product and performance summaries focused on drive based issues and status reports on associated corrective actions;

Hands-on aircraft and/or equipment maintenance, repair and troubleshooting experience Knowledge of Military and/or Commercial standards, manuals, policies, procedures and practices pertaining to aircraft safety, reliability, maintainability, supportability, non-destructive inspection, and diagnostics Multi-disciplined/cross functional (team based) aircraft/equipment engineering experience Experienced working within/across maintenance and non-conformance data systems Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
