Payor Credentialing Specialist Details Essential Job Duties:
Credentialing/re-credentialing applications for managed care organizations and hospitals Maintaining provider credential files and records Assisting with revenue cycle duties and analysis Performing other managed care tasks as assigned Education, Training & Experience High School diploma required, Associate Degree preferred. Medical Staff Coordinator Certification (CMSC) preferred. Excellent grasp of standard written and verbal English, spelling, and basic business math required. Typing speed of 60+ wpm required. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Prior work experience in a healthcare setting required. Proficiency with computers and various software required.
