Non-Exempt This role falls under the Operations organization reporting through Material Master Data Manager. The Sr Associate MM Data Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining different kinds of master data for the Material Masters and ensuring accuracy and standardization of Master Data Records across all wind/solar farms.
Role Responsibilities:
Promote strong safety culture Master data maintenance Create all material masters in SAP Check to see if material is existing through research in SAP
Verify part request information on template that Inventory Team submits
Verify data is accurate and info provided meets RWECE material nomenclature standards
Submit materials to Senior Master Data Specialist for creation in the MDG system
Once material is received extend to plants requested and notify the requester Extend all materials in SAP To different plants and storage locations
To different valuation types Maintain and update all material master data in SAP as needed Assist with bin locations updates as needed Contract Management Submit all contract requests for the RWECE Inventory
Request all source list adds to contracts
Verify information on template submitted from the Inventory Team
Submit contract changes to procurement
Track and update contract request sheet on SharePoint
Notify requester of approval Reporting Become familiar with pulling data for operations, procurement, and engineering for parts consumption, failure rate, purchase history, etc. Inventory Team Support Assist team members with any SAP issues regarding basic Master Data issues Inventory Cycle Counts Monitor inventory counts monthly Maintain spreadsheet on SP with accuracy data
Post discrepancies as needed Serialization Maintain data for functional locations and material info on master file on SharePoint Clean up and enhancement of MM data Maintain spreadsheet with OEM and manufacturer information
Assist with identifying the manufacturer information for material master enhancement
Prepare changes to global team for mass uploads submit to Senior MMDS for review
Request weights in SAP for upload
Add any other missing information as notified by the inventory team or procurement Support Inventory MM Manager in maintaining standard inventory processes and procedures for SAP MM
SAP MM Process Improvement and standardization across the fleet
All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements and Experiences:
A High School degree is required, and an Associates degree or higher in business or technical is preferred
A minimum of 1 year of SAP Material Management transactional experience preferred
Prefer experience in wind power or other similar utility or industrial setting
Make effective use of available resources to achieve Company and department goals and objectives
Ability to multi-task and prioritize critical projects and processes
Ability to travel less than 5% if required
Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, able to interact effectively and professionally with various levels of personnel and departments, vendors and able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment

- Able to work with minimum supervision and make decisions for all issues related to his/her discipline(s) with limited and/or available information
Technical/Functional Knowledge
- Strong understanding of inventory processes, familiar with Excel, and able to become certified and maintain the ability to operate a forklift and become CPR and first aid certified. Minimum intermediate Office Suite computer skills and knowledge
Problem Solving
- Ability to research and correct invoicing issues, inventory discrepancies, and goods issue/goods receipt, be able to follow prepared work instructions, sourcing other parts with the aid of procurement and engineering
Flexibility
- Adjust readily to changes in direction and work priorities while working efficiently to complete assigned tasks and achieve goals
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long periods of time, over 2/3 times
Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crawl, under 1/3 time
Must have the ability to identify and distinguish colors, under 1/3 time

Pay range:
The hourly range for this position in Colorado is $45.00
