Responsibilities Data Integrity & State Reporting Compile, maintain, and submit district student data in accordance with all state and federal laws. Coordinate and maintain a system of accountability for data reporting throughout the school district, including interpreting state reporting requirements for multiple districts. Monitor and resolve issues in the ODDEX system, and run reports provided by the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) to identify and correct errors. Ensure the accurate input and updating of Title I information, gifted, and special education data for state reporting purposes. Student Information System (SIS) Management Ensure the accuracy and integrity of student information data within PowerSchool on a daily basis. Maintain the student database to accurately track attendance, school calendars, course records, staff records, demographics, enrollments/withdrawals, student programs, discipline, and testing. Work with staff to monitor computer operating systems and data entry procedures to ensure consistent standards for the accurate collection, recording, and verification of information. Training & Support Provide training and technical support to district programs and personnel, including Gifted, Special Education, Virtual, Principals, and Secretaries. Serve as a liaison to state ITC sites, attend state meetings hosted by the ODE, and communicate updated state-mandated changes to appropriate district personnel. Send memos to building personnel regarding state reporting data requirements and timelines for completion. Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with Human Resources, Special Education, Payroll, ESL, and Gifted Education to assure accurate reporting of data. Assist the Treasurer's office with fiscal data processing and work with State Auditors to comply with requested information requests. Work with other districts to solve errors related to reporting and contact resource people for further information and interpretations when necessary.
