This role focuses on analyzing provider data, validating data accuracy, and ensuring the integrity of information used across internal systems and external provider directories, including the Provider Directory, PHO Support and BCBSA directory. This position plays a pivotal role in identifying and resolving provider data discrepancies and supporting department-wide initiatives such as the PIE project. Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze recurring and ad‑hoc provider data reports to identify trends, discrepancies, or gaps. Validate data across multiple sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting tools or dashboards as needed. Provide data-driven insights to support operational improvements. Provider Data Management Review provider data for accuracy and identify potential problems related to provider setup. Assist with preparing and submitting provider data required for the Provider Directory and the BCBSA Directory. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve provider data issues and ensure timely updates. PHO Support Provide reporting and data management support for the PHO team. Work with internal teams to ensure requests for changes to provider data are updated correctly. PIE /Project Support Perform data validation activities related to the PIE initiative. Ensure data elements meet project criteria and contribute to project documentation or reporting. Act as SME for provider on new initiatives that involve provider data. General Responsibilities Work independently to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Assist with process improvements to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, data validation, reporting, provider data management, or a closely related field. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Experience working with large data sets and interpreting complex information. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare or provider data management. Proficient in Excel. Familiarity with provider directories, credentialing systems, or BCBSA data processes.
