BKU & Master Data Specialist Vacuum Technique LLC United States, Indiana, Indianapolis Apr 20, 2026 Your role As a BKU & Master Data Specialist, you will ensure high-quality, compliant master data for VTS Aftermarket, covering Installed Base, Material, Vendor, Customer, and Pricing. Act as Business Key User (BKU) for service processes and ERP modules, providing daily support, enforcing process discipline, and leading improvements to boost efficiency, invoice accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Master Data Governance & Quality Manage lifecycle and change control for Installed Base, Material, Vendor, Customer, and Pricing. Ensure governance with standards, mandatory fields, approvals, documentation, and audit trails. Monitor and enhance data quality, addressing duplicates, completeness, and validity with stakeholders. BKU - Service Process Support Support end users in core service processes (order flow, delivery, warranty checks, billing, returns). Provide first-line troubleshooting; classify issues and coordinate resolution with IT/process owners. Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and a knowledge base for consistent execution. Installed Base & Pricing Focus Ensure Installed Base accuracy for efficient service and invoicing. Maintain pricing validity, approvals, and exception handling with Sales/Finance to reduce billing errors. ERP Module Project Lead Lead ERP initiatives (SD/MM/CS/PM) affecting service, installed base, and pricing: requirements, UAT, training, cutover, and documentation. Training & Continuous Improvement Train users, collaborate across departments, track KPIs, and drive improvements to reduce cycle time and errors. To succeed, you will need We encourage applications from candidates with diverse experiences and perspectives. You have 3-5+ years in Aftermarket Operations, Service Operations, Customer Center, Master Data, Order Management, or Procurement with strong ERP experience.
Minimum Experience:
Experience leading or contributing to ERP improvements/projects (module changes, rollouts, harmonization, migrations) is advantageous.
Knowledge Areas:
VTS Aftermarket execution and financial flow: service/spares order to billing and credit/return handling. Master data governance, quality practices, approvals, workflows, and audit readiness. Understanding Installed Base/Equipment principles for planning, parts ID, warranty checks, and reporting. Pricing/condition logic fundamentals and impact on invoicing accuracy. Critical Skills / Behaviors High attention to detail and ownership; strong prioritization in high-volume settings. Structured problem-solving and escalation; distinguish process, data, and system causes. Strong stakeholder management; align and influence across functions. Clear communication and training skills; translate complex ERP topics for users. Improvement mindset: identify issues and implement preventive controls. Tools / Systems Advanced ERP/SAP proficiency (SD/MM/CS/PM), transactional and master data understanding. Strong Excel skills for validation and analysis. Reporting and ticketing tools (Power BI, ServiceNow/Jira) are a plus.
Language:
English required Master Data Operations (60%) Daily execution and governance of master data requests for Installed Base, Material, Vendor, Customer, and Pricing. Validate inputs, completeness, approvals, and maintain audit trails. Monitor data quality and perform corrective actions and clean-ups. BKU Service Process Support (30%) First-line ERP support for VTS Aftermarket users in service and spare parts. Manage tickets from intake to closure: reproduce issues, categorize, define workarounds, escalate as needed. Maintain SOPs, work instructions, templates, knowledge base, and provide user coaching. ERP Module Project Lead (10%) Lead local/regional ERP improvements affecting VTS Aftermarket. Define requirements, align stakeholders, coordinate UAT, training, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization. Ensure sustainable outcomes via documentation, controls, and KPI tracking (billing error reduction, cycle-time improvement).
