We have an opportunity available for a Merchandising Data Specialist to work within our Category Management Team. The Merchandising Data Specialist will be responsible for maintaining product data integrity, including costing, pricing, rebate management, and product setup across multiple systems and sales channels. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and complete product information is available to customers while supporting initiatives that drive sales growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to learn category management from the ground up and opens the door for future advancement.What you will do:
Maintain accurate product data, costing, pricing, and rebate information across multiple systems Process product cost and price updates while supporting margin and profitability goals Manage new product setup and ensure product information is complete and accurate Monitor and audit product data across ERP, PIM, and online sales channels Maintain product records, including SKU transitions and discontinued item management Analyze data and reporting to identify opportunities for process improvements and margin growth Serve as a key resource for Sales, E-Commerce, Marketing, and Category Management on product data and pricing questions Support Category Managers with reporting, analysis, competitive research, and special projects What you will get: Ability to work on a hybrid basis, equipment provided Eligible immediately for 15 days of paid time off, eight paid holidays and two floating holidays Paid volunteer day Opportunity for growth within this role Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Employee bonus plan Comprehensive benefit package Paid Parental Leave Tuition Assistance 401(k) with company match What we need: Associate's Degree or 2+ years of relevant experience within a distribution company Experience in a support, administrative, data management, or related role Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and business systemsPreferred Qualifications:
