Job Description

The Specialist actively contributes to the institution-wide operations of Institutional Accountability and Curriculum Support (IACS). The primary responsibilities encompass performing various clerical tasks, and providing invaluable support to the IACS department. High school diploma or GED required. Three years wage earning clerical experience or certification relevant trade school (30 college credits) and six months wage earning clerical experience required. Transcripts must be uploaded to the application for evaluation purposes. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong data entry and word processing skills with a high degree of accuracy. Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Possess average computer, E-mail, and internet skills Attention to details and task oriented Demonstrated written and oral communication skills Demonstrated data entry and word processing skills with a high degree of accuracy Skilled at proofreading and identifying conflicting data Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and multi-task Able to use virtual platforms (i.e. Microsoft Teams, WebEx, Zoom) Ability to collect and verify accuracy of data from various sources. Ability to learn Colleague Ability to work independently Ability to communicate effectively in presenting data/information to all levels within the institution as well as to other public audiences. Serves as general receptionist for the department: answers multi-line telephone, greets visitors, Collects and distributes mail, maintains paper and electronic file systems. Creates, processes and tracks purchases and travel requisitions, tracks all departmental expenditures. Coordinates department meetings, events, and calendars and coordinates with all participants. Assists Dean, with research related to institutional accountability. Compiles required documentation to support the institutional accountability and curriculum support office. Completes minutes for all IACS meetings .Performs other duties as assigned and necessary for the efficient operation of the Institutional Accountability and Curriculum Support (IACS) Department
