Job Description

Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Support Engineering Data Specialists (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in San Antonio, TX.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(REQUIRED
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): o 5+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications o 5+ years of experience with interpreting engineering data for inclusion into maintenance manuals and/or technical publications o Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance analyst to support the development and verification of technical publications for new aircraft development programs. Duties may include (but are not limited to): o Interprets and analyzes engineering data, reliability and maintainability data, supply chain data, and customer operations and support concepts to develop aircraft maintenance instructions o Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components. o Provides recommendations on product supportability and establishes operation maintenance tasks and support resources. o Identifies and analyzes logistics support candidates from product definition and develops logistics support analysis records and reports. o Writes and maintains technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting and maintaining aircraft systems and/or components. o Review logistics support analysis reports, and develop or revise the initial maintenance instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA) o Track and status completion of tasks using client workflow management tools o Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks o Influence maintenance approach and product designs to ensure supportability and maintainability of the product o Validate the quality and accuracy of completed tasks on the aircraft.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
): o Experience with airplane maintenance manuals in a line maintenance environment
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)
TRAVEL:
Possibility for domestic travel up to 10%.
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT
; Primarily 1st shift, must also be open to 2nd shift if needed.
