Job Description

Join our team as a Data Warehouse Developer where you will have the opportunity to work on-site in the vibrant city of Richmond. This role is perfect for those who are passionate about data engineering and enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders to develop analytics-ready data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Data profiling: Analyze and understand source systems to determine data availability, quality, and extraction logic.
Data modeling:
Design dimensional models and star schemas to support analytics and reporting needs.
Data flow design:
Produce clear, detailed mapping documents that translate business rules into technical specifications.
SQL Server data mart development:
Build and optimize tables, views, stored procedures, and indexes.
Visual Studio database projects:
Create and maintain database projects for versioned, repeatable deployments.
GIT source control:
Manage code changes, branching, and collaboration workflows.
SSIS ETL
development: Build, schedule, and monitor ETL packages to load data marts reliably and efficiently.
Data validation testing:
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business rules. Dashboard/report creation (nice-to-have): Build basic dashboards or visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
