Contract•6-9 months About the Role Ledgent Technology is hiring on behalf of a local client for a detail oriented Data Specialist to support ongoing data operations. This role focuses on the manual processing of large Excel files that support important internal business processes, including pricing and other operational data. The work follows clear templates and documentation and requires consistency, focus, and attention to detail. While the tasks are straightforward, the data is high volume and business critical, making accuracy and care essential. What You'll Be Doing Manually reviewing, updating, and maintaining large Excel files , some with hundreds of thousands of rows Following established templates, guides, and documented procedures Ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and alignment with business rules Applying an understanding of the business context behind the data Identifying data discrepancies and communicating them appropriately Collaborating with team members to ensure consistent data quality Day-to-Day Environment Excel centric, hands on work Structured, process driven tasks Repetitive work that rewards precision and consistency Clear expectations and steady workflows This role does not involve automation, scripting, or testing. It is best suited for someone who enjoys structured, detail focused work and values data accuracy. Required Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in a data, operations, or administrative role Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel , including large datasets Proven ability to maintain accuracy while performing repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working in a process driven environment Location & Work Requirements 100% onsite role in Vancouver, WA Candidates must be currently local Monday-Friday schedule C2C candidates will not be considered at this time Nice to Have Experience working with pricing or other business critical data Background in data operations or data processing roles Experience following structured documentation and data standards All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
