Job Summary The role requires an expert-level SQL Server Database Administrator with recent hands-on experience across SQL Server administration, performance tuning, security, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, high availability, Windows Server administration and AWS infrastructure.

Key Requirements:

4+ years hands-on SQL Server DBA experience , including SQL Server 2016/2019/2022+. SQL Server installation, upgrades, service packs and cumulative updates. SQL Server Agent and Jobs. SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, DMVs and Index Tuning Advisor. SQL Server Configuration Manager and Performance Monitor. Linked Servers, MSDTC, SQL Server Broker and system databases. SQL Server security, authentication, auditing and encryption. Backup/recovery, point-in-time recovery, RPO/RTO and DR. Always On / High Availability experience. VLDB and high-volume OLTP/batch transaction environments. Strong T-SQL coding and performance tuning . ETL experience. Windows Server administration and PowerShell. Windows Failover Clustering. AWS storage and HA experience. Application/Web/File/FTP server administration. Strong troubleshooting and production support experience. Availability for 24-hour support .

Preferred:

FAST GenTax / DS-VS architecture and application maintenance. PUB1075, FIPS and PII security standards. Cloud computing, storage, backup and restore. Firewall administration. Active Directory, GPO, DNS, FQDN and SPN. Email/SMTP/Proxy troubleshooting. Web services development/support.

Important:
