Job DescriptionThe Protective Design Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing & Data Support Intern to join our team for a two-month engagement. This role is well-suited for a current college student pursuing Marketing, Library Science, Communications, or a related field, and looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional, corporate environment. The intern will support both marketing research initiatives and internal data management efforts, with a strong emphasis on maintaining accurate, well-structured databases and improving access to project information.

Primary Focus:
Data integrity, marketing research, and internal knowledge managementKEY RESPONSIBILITIESData & Database ManagementMaintain, update, and verify internal databases to ensure accuracy and consistencyOrganize and standardize records for improved usability and long-term accessibilityMarketing Research SupportConduct targeted research on clients, projects, and market trendsCompile and synthesize information to support business development effortsAdministrative & Operational SupportProvide general administrative assistance to support ongoing projectsHelp ensure tasks stay on track and deadlines are metProcess Improvement & Digital ToolsAssist in developing and organizing template librariesSupport process improvements, including exploration of AI tools to streamline workflows
SPECIFIC TASKS MAY
INCLUDEPopulating and maintaining CRM spreadsheets for business development trackingResearching and consolidating project data (e.g., construction dates, costs, images, and key details)Supporting the development and organization of a centralized templates databaseAssisting with the creation of AI-driven tools or agents to improve efficiencyAiding in project archiving and records management processesQualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Library Science, Communications, or a related fieldStrong attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate workHighly organized and able to manage repetitive tasks efficientlySelf-motivated and capable of working both independently and within a teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with SharePoint or similar platforms
