Contract Role Overview:
We are seeking a Data Center Due Diligence Specialist with strong experience in full site buildouts from scratch . The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and supporting end-to-end data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and vendor management .
Key Responsibilities:
Lead data center due diligence for new site buildouts and expansions Assess site feasibility , including space, power availability, cooling capacity, and network readiness Work on end-to-end infrastructure planning (power, HVAC/cooling, racks, cabling, connectivity) Evaluate and manage vendors, OEMs, and contractors Review and validate designs, layouts, and technical specifications Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, facilities, network, construction) Identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities during site assessment
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in data center site buildouts (greenfield or brownfield) Strong knowledge of: Power infrastructure (UPS, generators, PDUs) Cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, liquid cooling preferred) Networking & structured cabling Experience in vendor evaluation and management Ability to review architectural and engineering designs Strong understanding of data center standards (Uptime Institute, Tier levels, etc.) Hands-on experience with capacity planning and infrastructure scaling Nice to
Have:
Experience with hyperscale or enterprise data centers Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency practices Certifications related to data center design or facilities (CDCP, Uptime, etc.)
