Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Data Center Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing our cutting-edge data infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of data center hardware, supporting IT infrastructure, and assisting with system troubleshooting and maintenance. Your technical expertise will help sustain high availability, security, and efficiency across our data environments. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware or software issues promptly to minimize downtime. Support the deployment and management of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Assist with routine maintenance tasks including firmware updates, backups, and system upgrades following best practices. Collaborate with IT teams to implement automation scripts using Python or Java to improve operational efficiency. Maintain detailed documentation of hardware configurations, network diagrams, and incident reports. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency response and system recovery efforts. Experience Proven experience working with IT infrastructure in a data center or similar environment. Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Java for automation purposes. Understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for system integrations. Experience working within Agile methodologies and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes. Knowledge of DevOps practices to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Educational background in computer science or related fields is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by hands-on experience. Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
