Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA) to join our team. This role is responsible for the performance, integrity, security, and availability of SQL Server databases that support critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with database administration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, monitor, and maintain SQL Server database environmentsManage database performance, tuning, and optimization to ensure high availability and reliabilityPerform database backups, restores, and disaster recovery planningMonitor system health and proactively resolve database issuesImplement and maintain database security, access controls, and compliance standardsSupport database patching, upgrades, and migrationsCollaborate with developers to optimize queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategiesTroubleshoot production incidents and provide timely resolutionCreate and maintain technical documentation for database environments, processes, and proceduresAssist with capacity planning and long-term database strategy
