In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Administer and support mission-critical Oracle Database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational stability. Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Multitenant (CDB/PDB), and Exadata platforms across production and non-production environments. Install, configure, administer, and support Oracle GoldenGate replication solutions, including heterogeneous replication to cloud platforms such as Snowflake. Monitor and troubleshoot database and replication issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and adherence to SLAs. Lead database upgrades, patching, migrations, cloning, and modernization initiatives. Perform performance analysis and tuning using
AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL
Monitor, and Oracle Enterprise Manager. Support disaster recovery planning, testing, switchover, failover, and failback activities for business-critical applications. Develop automation solutions using Shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to deliver resilient database solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentor junior DBAs, and contribute to operational excellence initiatives. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database 19c and related technologies, including RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, and Multitenant architecture. Minimum 3+ years of Oracle GoldenGate administration experience, including implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrade activities. Demonstrated experience supporting high-volume, mission-critical production systems in a 24x7 environment. Strong expertise in database performance tuning, SQL optimization, capacity planning, and root cause analysis. Experience with GoldenGate replication to cloud platforms, including Snowflake, is highly desirable. Experience with Oracle Exadata, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, and GoldenGate Microservices Architecture is preferred. Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and automation best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to participate in on-call support rotations and lead critical incident response activities. Oracle certifications (OCP and/or GoldenGate Certification) are preferred.
