Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Database Analysts to support data management, analysis, and optimization initiatives for a State of Florida project. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in database systems, data analysis, and performance tuning within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, design, and maintain database systems to support business applications
Perform data analysis, validation, and quality checks across multiple data sources
Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing
Develop and maintain database documentation, data models, and data dictionaries
Support ETL processes and data integration activities
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
Ensure data security, integrity, andpliance with state standards
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience as a Database Analyst or similar role
Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
Experience with data modeling, data analysis, and reporting
Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes
Familiarity with performance tuning and database optimization techniques
Experience working in large enterprise or government environments is preferred
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
Exposure to BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
