Microsoft SQL Developer

Education:

A bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in one of the computer science or management information systems

Certifications:

in the field

Required Experience:

1. 10+ years of experience with successful data driven system development/integration experience using Microsoft SQL server. 2. Experience planning, organizing, and coordinating work assignments 3. Experience communicating technical information effectively 4. Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others

Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer p rogramming and systems design Ability to evaluate and implement user s requests for new data elements and systems and incorporates in the existing shared data environment Ability to coordinate use of the organization s data to ensure data integrity and control redundancy Ability to perform data modeling and proto typing Knowledge of maintaining necessary database security Skilled in monitoring database performance and implementing efficiency improvements Ability to create test data base environment for applications sections including the creation of necessary libraries and procedures Ability to develop and maintain database access and procedures to ensure proper control of the databases Ability to assist programmer/analysts in programming database objects and conduct walk-throughs to ensure database efficiency Ability to set up and/or execute the jobs necessary to save, retrieve, and recover databases from hardware and software failures within established procedures
