Our data center operator position is more of a data center gray space monitor. This person monitors and manages the data center environment and infrastructure not the IT servers and network. Person needs to be comfortable with data center power, fire suppression systems, and cooling concepts, and devices. Some windows and Linux administration experience is desired to aid the candidate in setting up devices in the monitoring software, upgrading and patching monitoring applications etc. Additionally, having any job automation software experience will be a plus.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Monitor data center environmental systems (power, cooling, fire suppression) Monitor automated batch jobs through Stonebranch Support data center infrastructure projects Rack/unrack servers and perform cabling work Manage hardware inventory Process payroll and print payroll checks Monitor ServiceNow tickets and operational dashboards Coordinate with vendors on maintenance and repairs Support physical security and access control within the data centerMust-Have Soft Skills Hourly Pay Rate:
