Job Description

Job Description This company is supporting large-scale data center and infrastructure projects and is hiring a Cable Installation Technician with a CDL license to support deployments across multiple data center sites. This role combines hands-on cabling work with the responsibility of transporting equipment and materials between locations. This is not a warehouse or material handling role—this person will be actively involved in installing, routing, and supporting structured cabling systems while also operating company vehicles to move equipment and components between job sites. Transport data center equipment, materials, and cabling components between sites using company vehicles (must have CDL Class A or B license) Install, route, and support structured cabling systems within data center environments Perform cable pulls, terminations, labeling, and basic troubleshooting Load, unload, and safely secure equipment during transport Stage materials and assist with deployment activities to support installation crews Coordinate with field teams and supervisors to ensure timely execution of project work Support general jobsite tasks as needed, including organizing materials and maintaining clean work areas Follow all safety protocols, including DOT regulations and jobsite safety standards We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Valid CDL Class A or B license (required) 0-2 years' experience with cable installation (fiber, copper, or structured cabling) in data centers or similar environments Ability to safely operate trucks and transport equipment between job sites Comfortable working in physically demanding environments (lifting up to 50lbs, etc.) Strong work ethic with the ability to balance driving responsibilities and hands-on technical work Basic communication skills and ability to work effectively on a team Ability to work in indoor/outdoor environments and adapt to varying conditions
