Job Description

Company Mission Proteus, Inc. provides agricultural workers and their families with affordable health care, education assistance, and job training.
GENERAL STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES
Under supervision, coordinates database and administrative functions for the National Farmworker Jobs Program, with emphasis on data accuracy, compliance, reporting, record maintenance, and efficient program operations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Coordinates workforce database activities to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant data entry, maintenance, and data transfers between systems. 2. Monitors, audits, and cleans data to identify errors, duplicates, gaps, and missing information and works with staff to resolve discrepancies promptly. 3. Provides staff training and support on database systems, documentation standards, and system updates. 4. Maintains electronic and program files for participant eligibility, services, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and compliance. 5. Prepares and assists with federal, internal, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reports, including performance reporting and annual data validation. 6. Coordinates with staff and software vendors to troubleshoot system issues, implement updates, and improve workflow efficiency. 7. Reviews participant timesheet processes, updates files, and processes participant IDs, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders for programmatic payments. 8. Supports program operations through policy and procedure updates, training materials, grant proposal support, delivery plans, and participant satisfaction reporting. 9. Coordinates staff travel and monitors inventories of outreach materials and office supplies, as needed. 10. Attends meetings and performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Education sufficient to fulfill the responsibilities of this position, typically including two years of college in administration, database management, business, information systems, or a related field.
Experience:
Experience in data entry, database coordination, reporting, administrative support, or related program operations. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe, and the ability to learn and support internal database systems are required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Specific Skills:
Strong attention to detail, communication, problem-solving, customer service, and collaboration skills.
License and Certificates:
Access to reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and minimum car insurance required by state law. Must be willing to travel as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift to 25 pounds, with frequent lifting or carrying of objects up to 20 pounds, and to perform reaching, handling, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, walking, stooping, and bending.

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
