The RoleJob DescriptionWe are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to join Kyndryl's Applications, Data & AI (ADAI) practice, supporting Oracle administration, migration, high availability, and disaster recovery activities across enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will participate in migration projects, operational support, backup and recovery activities, RAC and Data Guard administration, and validation processes, working closely with senior DBAs and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and secure database operations. Who You AreEssential Qualifications2-4 years of experience administering Oracle Database environments.

Experience with Oracle installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.

Practical experience using RMAN and Data Pump for migration and recovery activities.

Understanding of Oracle migration methodologies and validation processes.

Basic experience supporting Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.

Linux administration experience.

SQL, PL/SQL, and Bash scripting skills.

Experience performing data validation, integrity checks, and post-migration verification activities.

Ability to support production deployments, migration windows, and DR exercises.

Preferred SkillsExposure to Oracle RAC and Data Guard implementations.

Knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate.

Experience with OCI, AWS, or Azure.

Oracle certification or formal Oracle DBA training.

Experience in enterprise or 24x7 production environments.

Understanding of Oracle licensing and governance concepts.
