As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

Required Technical and Professional Experience8 to 20 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects
SQL and PL/SQL Mastery:
Proficiency in writing, debugging, and managing PL/SQL blocks, including stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors (including REF CURSORs), collections, and exception handling.

Must to have Oracle PL/SQL experience in:-UTL_HTTP for calling external services (incl. error handling, timeouts, retries)External Tables and UTL_FILE for robust file ingestion/export (permissions, directory objects, large file handling)Native JSON handling (JSON_VALUE, JSON_TABLE, parsing/generation, validation)Self-starter who can navigate and analyse complex legacy PL/SQL code bases, isolate issues, and propose well-structured solutions without close supervisionDatabase Tools & Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting (e.g., Perl, Bash) for process automation, job scheduling, and file handling is often required.

Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust softwareExperienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, Rest based web servicesKnowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queuesDeep understanding of OOP and Design patternsPreferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
