Duties and responsibilities This is a combination role that encompasses both construction/facilities tasks, along with data center operations tasks. General construction knowledge and handyman skills are required, as well as general computer literacy, including Microsoft office suite.

• Perform simple maintenance and construction tasks as assigned. Includes but is not limited to installing ladder rack, conduit, communication cabling, operating diesel generators, plumbing, grounds keeping, cage construction and modification, and other general construction tasks.
• Maintain facility security
• Perform duties of Data Center Operations Technician and Specialist
• Be onsite to accept deliveries as needed
• Responsible for the day-to-day processes and operations of the assigned data center site
• Responsible for site inventory
• Complete project assignments given to you by management
• Be able to be onsite quickly in case of emergencies work experience and education requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external customers
• Proficient using a PC
• Ability to perform under high pressure situations
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Pay:

$60,000.00 per year
