V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Database Administrator for our premier client in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Education and Experience »
Five (5) years of experience as a Database Administrator- Senior role
Knowledge and Skills:
Troubleshoot and resolve complex production database, LOB, and data integrity issues; provide technical support to development teams and serve as a subject matter expert in data integration functions.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management software, Visual Studio, and Team Foundation Server
Knowledge of database design principles, data modeling, data warehousing concepts
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and reporting tools Tableau and Workiva/Wdata
Solid problem-solving skills with a proven ability to manage and troubleshoot complex database, application, and data integrity issues.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as Microsoft SQL Server Administrator, monitoring and optimizing database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and capacity planning. Managing database security, user access, encryption, backup.
Provide technical expertise for data administration, database programming, and KPPA's Line of Business (LOB) applications, including mentoring development staff on SQL optimization and performance enhancements.
Design, develop, modify, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports; collaborate with business users and analysts to gather reporting requirements and deliver accurate, efficient reporting solutions.
