Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Data Center Operations Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing our state-of-the-art data infrastructure. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of data center hardware, network systems, and IT infrastructure. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help keep our data environment secure, reliable, and efficient. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while supporting critical business operations. Responsibilities Monitor and maintain data center hardware including servers, storage devices, and networking equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot hardware issues, software glitches, and network problems swiftly to minimize downtime. Support help desk systems by managing customer support tickets related to technical issues and escalating complex problems when necessary. Assist with equipment installation, configuration, upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks across various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS. Manage network components including TCP/IP configurations, DNS settings, VPN connections, firewalls, LANs (Local Area Networks), and WANs (Wide Area Networks). Support Active Directory management for user account provisioning, permissions, and GPO (Group Policy Object) configurations. Collaborate with team members to analyze system logs, perform network troubleshooting, and implement security protocols to safeguard IT infrastructure. Requirements Proven experience with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, LAN/WAN administration. Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows Server), Linux, and macOS. Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting—servers, desktops, mobile devices—and software troubleshooting across various platforms. Familiarity with help desk systems and customer support ticket management processes. Ability to perform technical support tasks involving Active Directory management and computer management tools. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users and collaborate effectively within a team. Analysis skills for diagnosing system issues quickly and implementing effective solutions. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as switches, routers, TCP/IP protocols, GPOs, DNS management, and network security measures like VPNs and firewalls.
