Summary:
- Administer and secure enterprise database systems including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB.
- Implement DISA STIGs, execute vulnerability remediation, and manage IAVA patching across database environments.
- Support system authorization activities, RMF processes, and database recovery operations.
Qualifications & Compensation:
Degree:
Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 10+ years
Total Compensation:
$226k+ yearly (tentative)
- Implement, audit, and maintain DISA STIG and SRG security compliance across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Perform regular vulnerability scans, evaluate discrepancies, and document Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
- Support RMF processes and contribute to Authority to Operate (ATO) packages in coordination with ISSOs.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle and other RDBMS software, including CPU and IAVA patches.
- Troubleshoot complex database problems, perform database recovery actions, and monitor system health.
- Develop, modify, and optimize database scripts and complex SQL and PL/SQL queries for operational requirements.
- Collaborate with Agile development teams to provide cybersecurity oversight and evaluate the impact of proposed changes.
