Candidate will be providing MySQL database administration support.Skills:
- 10+ years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with, Oracle MySQL.
- Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
- Installing and configuring new MySQL servers (5.x and 8.x)
- Design and development of MySQL stored procedures.
- Upgrading MySQL databases, both major and minor revisions
- Administering MySQL account access, backups and table spaces
- Migrating MySQL databases
- Monitoring MySQL server performance
- BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year's experience.
- Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
- Must be COMPTIA Security Plus certified
Qualifications:
- Managing/Senior Principal Consultant designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise.
