6-Month Contract-to-Hire Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Technician to support cable preparation and material handling operations. This role involves working with fiber optic and copper cables, preparing materials for shipment, and ensuring products are organized and ready for delivery. Responsibilities Prepare and organize fiber optic and copper cables for distribution. Pull and stage materials based on work orders and project needs. Apply and transfer cable identification labels and stickers accurately. Bundle, package, and secure cables for transportation. Palletize materials and prepare shipments for delivery. Maintain an organized warehouse and inventory area. Follow safety procedures and quality standards while handling materials. Assist with general warehouse duties as needed. Required Skills & Experience Previous warehouse experience required. Experience handling cable, telecommunications, fiber optic, or electrical materials is a plus. Ability to lift, move, and organize materials throughout the warehouse. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required.
