MySQL & Oracle DBA (ORA-2252-04.021823)
Candidate will be providing Oracle database administration support in a production environment.

- Eight (8+) years of experience administering to, and engineering solutions with MySQL and Oracle's database (10 - 12). Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
- Installing and configuring new MySQL servers (5.x and 8.x)
- Upgrading MySQL databases, both major and minor revisions
- Administering MySQL account access, backups and table spaces
- Migrating MySQL databases
- Monitoring MySQL server performance
- Significant experience with the production and deployment of
RAC, RMAN
backup & recovery desired- Experience with Streams / GoldenGate, DB security, DB Guard and / or DB Vault, Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, label security, and data migration desired
- Occasional after hours call-in required on an as needed basis.
- Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
CATEGORY QUALIFICATIONSTABLE
: Managing/Senior Principal Consultant- Designs and implements individual components of the Oracle products based on area of expertise.
- Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology.
- Provides implementation services for a specific product to include extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows.
- Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls and security.
- Performs system optimization, performance tuning and assists in capacity planning.
- Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks and roadblocks during system implementation and operations.
CERTIFICATION
CompTIA IAT, Level 2 CertifiedEDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of database experience, OR
- No Degree + 12 years of database experience.
