For more information, visit . About the role Concept Plus is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support critical client networks at Fort Meade. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, security hardening, and performance tuning of large-scale, on-premises Oracle database environments. This position focus is ensuring the mission-critical continuity of legacy data frameworks while laying the groundwork for secure cloud migration. What you'll do Oversee the day-to-day administration, installation, configuration, and patching of Oracle 19c database environments on physical servers and engineered systems (Oracle Exadata). Diagnose and resolve complex database performance issues, optimize SQL/PL, utilize Automatic Workload Repository (AWR) reports, and manage Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC). Apply client Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to harden databases and ensure full compliance with high security baselines. Design, implement, and test robust backup and disaster recovery strategies using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Data Guard. Assist cloud engineering teams by preparing, cleaning, and formatting legacy data schemas for eventual migration to cloud-native platforms. Required Qualifications US Citizen Active U.S. Top Secret clearance. Must be willing to go fully on-site in Fort Meade, MD. 7+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration within a secure federal environment. Deep expertise in Oracle 19c, RAC, Grid Infrastructure, Exadata, ASM, and RMAN. Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and shell scripting. CompTIA Security+ CE (or DoD IAT Level II equivalent).
