Data Center Technician Location:
Hagerstown, Maryland (On-Site)
Job Summary:
Our team is seeking a dedicated professional to operate and maintain critical infrastructure in a dynamic data center environment. We focus on ensuring maximum availability and reliability while adhering to industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems in the data center. Collaborate with a team of Critical Facilities Technicians to ensure maximum availability of the data center while minimizing risks. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage planned and unplanned data center work. Respond to electrical and mechanical issues in the data center, minimizing risk and effectively communicating issues to the appropriate chain of command.
Required:
5-7 years of experience in relevant fields. Prior military or technical school training, preferred. 1-3+ years' experience in Mission Critical Environments, preferred. Electrical or mechanical license, preferred.
