Supports hardware and software installation, configuration, operation and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center. Operates, monitors and performs basic troubleshooting of equipment, networks, and data processing/batching; assists with logging and documentation of equipment and processes. Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and server installations.Job Functions:
- Ability to work a regularly scheduled Night shift operations shift (5:30pm - 5:30am) 7 days on 7 off.
- Operate all SG computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines
- Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all aspects of the operational environment are maintained
- Log routine activities and report or promptly escalate problems to management for resolution
- Ability to work with SG field service staff, members of retailer base and Lottery staffs to troubleshoot and resolve different situations
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications Education Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
- Prior experience with LINUX and/or Microsoft products, and Windows based systems.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new terms and technologies
- Strong time management skills
- Personal punctuality and dependable job attendance
Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Must have average organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and stretch at a minimum of 50% of the time for any or all of the movements described.
